Location Data Retention Policy

This page explains how Club Order App collects, uses, and deletes location data for users placing orders, especially delivery orders, as well as the choices venues have when configuring how location is used at their venue.

What We Collect

When you place a delivery order, we collect location data so that a courier can find you and deliver your order to your seat or location within the venue. Depending on the venue's configuration, this may include:

Why We Need Background Location

In many venues, customers move around between the time they place an order and the time their order is ready (for example, walking to a seat, switching sections, or stepping away briefly). Background location allows the courier to find you reliably even if you have moved or if your phone screen is locked. Without it, deliveries are slower, less accurate, and more likely to fail.

Background location is only used while an active delivery is in progress. It is not used at any other time.

Each venue can configure how location is used in their venue. Different venues choose different options based on their layout, seating, and the way they run their service. Options include:

Because each venue chooses what is appropriate for their operation, you may see different permission prompts at different venues.

Data Retention

We delete location records once they are no longer needed. For delivery orders, location data is retained only for the duration of the active delivery and is removed from our systems once the delivery has been completed. If location data is collected for an order that ends in pickup or another completed fulfillment flow, we delete that location data once the order has been completed and the location is no longer needed to fulfill or support the order.

We do not keep historical location records, we do not build profiles from your location, and we do not share location data with third parties.

Your Choices

You can change or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. If a venue requires background location for delivery and the permission is not granted, you may not be able to place a delivery order at that venue — but you can still use pickup or other options if the venue offers them.
