TapTasteGo and the broader IRIS Mobile Dining platform are credible, established hospitality products. Club Order is not positioned as better for every hotel. It is designed as an alternative for pools, beaches, lawns, golf areas, marinas, and other environments where guests may not remain at a numbered ordering point.
What TapTasteGo and IRIS do well
IRIS already promotes mobile dining for Marriott pool, beach, bar, lobby, and event-space operations. Its Marriott offering can be opened from a QR code, embedded in the Bonvoy app, or linked from a hotel website. IRIS also offers its wider platform beyond Marriott.
It would be inaccurate to say that TapTasteGo cannot locate guests. In an IRIS case study, Danang Marriott placed QR codes on parasols so each code supplied the lounger’s precise location. That fixed-location model helped the property serve five pools and a beach more efficiently.
IRIS also supports Oracle Simphony Cloud. Its published integration sends mobile orders directly to the kitchen through Simphony and supports menu synchronization. These are meaningful capabilities, not check-box distinctions.
A different location model
A QR code attached to lounger 217 is an effective way to tell a runner where an order started. The operational edge case appears when the guest moves—to the pool, another chair, the beach, a lawn, or a nearby activity area—before the order is ready.
Club Order is built around that moving-guest scenario. With the guest’s permission, location is part of the fulfillment workflow and staff can use a map to find the customer. That can reduce the need to label hundreds of chairs and can make Club Order a particularly natural fit for large outdoor resort environments.
Location accuracy still depends on the guest’s device, permissions, signal, and network conditions. For a fixed restaurant table or a property already standardized on numbered QR locations, the QR model may be exactly the right choice.

Pricing makes a low-risk pilot possible
Club Order has no setup fee, monthly minimum, or long-term contract. A property pays when guests order, and the price per order declines automatically with monthly volume.
Club Order monthly volume pricing
- 1–100 orders$0.50/order
- 101–500 orders$0.40/order
- 501–1,000 orders$0.30/order
- 1,001–2,500 orders$0.20/order
- 2,501+ orders$0.10/order
That supports a practical buying decision: do not replace an established property-wide program on day one. Pilot Club Order at one pool, beach, or golf area for a season and measure delivery time, runner efficiency, guest adoption, and incremental order volume.
